Animal Magnetism #42: Camellia Camel

  • Designed by Alida Macor
Camellia is an Arabian (dromedary) camel because she has only one hump on her back; Asian (bactrian) camels have two humps. Known as "ships of the desert," camels can travel where no cars or even horses can go. A camel carries a pantry of food (fat, not water) inside it's hump which gets smaller as it is depleted. Camels can go without drinking water for days, then guzzle 20 gallons at a time. Size: 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches.
