Animal Magnetism #12: Kitty Cat

  • Designed by Alida Macor
Scientists believe that Kitty's ancestors began to appear about 40 million years ago, and were brought to America during the 1700s. With close relatives like the lion, panther and jaguar, Kitty is a clever hunter and may on occasion bring home a mouse to prove it. Kitty's curved claws help her to scamper up a tree, but unfortunately not back down. Indoors, Kitty enjoys needlework, especially a ball of yarn. Size: 3 3/4" x 6 3/8".
