Animal Magnetism #15: Franny Frog

  • Designed by Alida Macor
Franny Frog is an amphibian, which means double life because frogs live both in water and on land. Franny eats insects, but doesn't drink water like most animals. Frogs just sit in a puddle or pond and absorb water through their skin. Powerful leg muscles enable frogs to shoot through the air like a rocket, and leap 12 times their length -- equivalent to a 6-foot man jumping 72 feet. When sitting, a frog's legs naturally fold into three sections. Size: 4" x 4 1/2".
